An Engaging Story

On April 17, 199, William C. Hoffman proposed to Laura Renee Joseph on the banks of the Patomic River under the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C. He didn't slip a ring on her finger that lovely evening but he did tell her that for an engagement gift he had made an arrangement with Maranatha Builder's International to build a church in celebration of their engagement in Honduras, Central America.

The months passed quickly and Laura & Bill decided that planning for a wedding is much like life itself - it costs alot, it takes time and careful thought and since it's a short event that is over quickly, it's best to do it in a way that is memorable and lasting.

So the conclusion is to join their lives in a dignified yet simple way, in La Lima, Honduras, Central America. Maranatha Builders International is responsible for building a new Seventh-day Adventist church in the town of La Lima Honduras (include a map of Honduras), a suburb of San Pedro Sula. This is the first Adventist church in this town where a company of believers have waited and requested a building. Bill Hoffman is the Project Coordinator for Azure Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church Young and Restless Sabbath School. The footings and metal structure will be in place
