The Adventist Church as rarely come up short in developing new activities. Whether it's tent meetings, Pathfinders, ingathering or satellite evangelism, we've been busy with God's work.

Have these activities been trying to accomplish God's purpose using our own strength? That ultimately depends upon the heart. So we cannot truly say. However, given the parallelism it is reasonable to say that this is just the beginning and that God intends that a different work be accomplished; that is, a work upon our own heart that leads to repentence. After this there will not only be a lot of activities but they will be marked with far more success than we are currently witnessing.
